Privacy Policy for ColorRush: Turf War
Last updated: 3 August 2026
ColorRush: Turf War ("the app") is developed by Görkem Güclü ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to data when you play.
The short version
The app has no accounts and no server of its own. We do not run a database with your information in it, and we cannot identify you. Everything below concerns data that stays on your device, data that Apple handles for you, or data that two third-party SDKs collect for advertising and purchases.
What stays on your device
The app stores your settings and your earned progress locally: the palette you selected, your diamond balance, which palettes you bought, when you last claimed the daily gift, and how many matches you played today. This is kept in the app's own storage and is deleted when you delete the app.
What is synchronised through your iCloud account
If you are signed in to iCloud, your earned progress — diamonds, purchased palettes, used trials and the daily-gift dates — is mirrored to Apple's iCloud key-value store so that it survives a device change. This data lives in your iCloud account. We have no access to it, and Apple does not give us a copy. If you are not signed in to iCloud, the app works exactly as before and nothing is synchronised.
What Apple handles for online matches
Online matches use Apple's Game Center. When you play against someone, Game Center shows both players their opponent's Game Center display name and profile picture, and the app sends the game moves between the two devices. There is no chat, no voice chat and no messaging of any kind. Game Center accounts are managed by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy, not by us.
What third parties collect
Two SDKs are built into the app. They collect data on their own behalf.
Google AdMob (advertising)
The app shows rewarded video ads — short ads you can choose to watch in exchange for one diamond. You are never forced to watch one.
We have configured AdMob to serve non-personalised ads only. The app does not request permission to track you, does not access the advertising identifier (IDFA) for tracking, and does not show Apple's tracking prompt.
Important to be honest about: non-personalised does not mean nothing is collected. Google still processes a device identifier and usage data for purposes such as capping how often an ad is shown, measuring ad delivery and preventing fraud. Google acts as an independent controller for this data. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows Google's consent form before any ad is loaded. You can change your choice at any time in the app's settings.
RevenueCat (subscriptions and purchases)
Deluxe subscriptions are handled through RevenueCat, which records the purchase itself, an anonymous app user identifier that RevenueCat generates, and technical data about the device needed to validate the receipt. RevenueCat never receives your name, your email address or your Apple Account. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Payment itself is processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.

Children
The app is rated 4+ and contains no content unsuitable for children. It is not part of Apple's Kids Category and is not directed at children under 13.
It does contain rewarded advertising and optional purchases. If you are a parent, you can switch off in-app purchases entirely on your child's device using Apple's Screen Time settings.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to information, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Because we hold no data about you ourselves, requests concerning advertising data go to Google, and requests concerning purchase data go to RevenueCat and Apple. We will help you find the right contact if you write to us.
To erase everything held locally and in your iCloud account, delete the app and remove its data in your iCloud settings.
Changes to this policy
If the app's data practices change, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
